This week the Turlock Pride went to Atwater and played the Buhac Thunder
Varsity won 38-0 and are now 2-0
Jv won 12-7 and are now 2-0
Peewee lost 6-35 and are now 1-1
Next week the Turlock Pride are going to Merced for an early game
Peewee @ 8 am (yes, in the morning)
JV @ 10 am
varsity @ noon
Rookies @ 2 pm

RULES TO REMEMBER:1. There is NO outside food, drink, or ice chests allowed at any CenCal event. (Badged Team Parent with team snack exempt) Although team ice chests will still be inspected.
2. All spectator bags are subject to inspection. (If you do not consent, You will not be allowed to enter) NO EXCEPTIONS!!
3. RULE ADDED LAST NIGHT ACROSS ALL CENCAL TEAMS – NO air horns, bullhorns, megaphones or replicated instruments with the intent to create extreme loud noises. Referee whistles can’t be heard on the field.
Due to disruptive, disrespectful, confrontational and verbally aggressive behaviors of a few fans toward volunteers and Referees at another CenCal team game last weekend CENCAL has issued a “NO TOLERANCE POLICY” warning to all teams at last nights league executive meeting. If ANYONE attending a CenCal activity breaks the above rules, becomes disruptive, verbally abusive and/or physically confrontational toward any coaches, volunteers, referees, and/or board members, they will be BANNED from all CenCal activities and their child will be suspended from participating. Parents you are responsible for family members who attend your child’s events.
PLEASE, we do not want your child to be punished for the actions of an adult relative. So make sure you inform everyone that comes to support your child to stay classy and follow the rules.
Turlock Youth Football is a program built on the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership taught by example. The program’s goal of player development on and off the field relies on the practice of those values. Together we create and maintain a safe, healthy, fun, and positive environment for our players. TYF Code of Conduct
By entering any Turlock Youth Football event you agree to abide by the following:
• I agree to follow the rules of the game and the policies of the
Cen-Cal Youth Football league.
• I will help create a safe healthy environment that encourages
good sportsmanship both on and off the field.
• I will remember that children participate to have fun and that
the game is for them, not adults.
• I will be a positive role model for my child and encourage
sportsmanship and show respect and courtesy by demonstrating
positive support for all players, coaches, officials, and spectators.
• I will never yell, taunt, threaten or inflict physical violence upon
any player, coach, official or spectator.
•I will not use any abusive or vulgar language or racial, ethnic or
gender-related slurs at any time.
•I will abide by all stadium rules: as posted No Outside Food or
Drink, No Sunflower Seeds, No Noise Makers…
• I will never bring or use drugs, alcohol, tobacco products or
weapons of any kind.
Zero Tolerance Policy
If you refuse to conduct yourself in a manner that complies
with the TYF Code of Conduct any board member may escort you out
of the event.
We would like to take this opportunity to share with you the rules and expectations for Joe Debely Football Stadium, or any other field we visit.

*No noisemakers of any kind, except your voice, the players love hearing you cheer for them!
*No profanity, Please remember this event is for children so keep it a “PG” rating
*No ice chest, except Head Coaches, Team Moms and Cheer Coaches for the team snacks and drinks
*We do have the right to look through your bags and an Ice chest to see what you are bringing in
*No outside food or drinks of any kind
*No alcohol, tobacco products, smoking, or vaping is allowed in the stadium
*No Sun Flower seeds
*No one is allowed on the field unless you have a Cen Cal badge
*No loud music except during the Cheerleader’s half time performance
*Behave in a manner that is in accordance with TYF Codes of conduct
These are the Turlock Unified High School District and of CencCal Youth Football rules. so please remember it is a privilege and not a right for us to use Joe Debely Stadium so we ask that you all abide by these rules.
We also ask that you please be respectful to the residents around the stadium, please do not litter. If the District gets too many complaints we will be banned from playing there.
We know you want to let the kids know how proud you are of them and you want to cheer them on, we just need you all to cheer them on in other ways, be creative but please be respectful.
We don’t want to eject parents or family members, but we will if we have to, and an ejection could be permanent and we really don’t want to do that. We also ask that you treat all our away games the same way, all the rules and expectations above will be enforced at all stadiums. Thank you for your cooperation.
TYF Pride hosted the Merced Cougars. All Pride teams won their season openers.

Next week the Pride will travel to Atwater to face the Buhac Thunder.

*** Last week due to poor air quality all of the games for Pride Vs Stampede were cancelled and will not be rescheduled.
This Saturday the 4th the Pride will be hosting the Merced Cougars.
