Players are required to follow the Player’s Code of Conduct

• I will arrive at all my practices and games on time and prepared. I or my parent will notify my coach if I will not be on time or will be absent. It is my responsibility to have all my equipment ready for a game or practice.

• I will always respect my coaches and listen carefully to their instructions. I understand that they are giving their time to make me a better football player. I will respect myself by always giving my best effort, in every way.

• I will always support and respect my teammates and opponents. I will not tease, ridicule, or put down any players on my team or the opposing team at any time.

• I will always show good sportsmanship, both when winning and losing. I will always congratulate the other team and wish them “good luck” or “good game.”

• I will never yell, taunt, threaten or inflict physical violence upon any player, coach, official, or spectator at any time. Nor will I use abusive or vulgar language or racial, ethnic, or gender-related slurs at any time during any TYF event.

• I will be committed to developing as a football player. This includes attending practice, listening to my coach, and always giving my best effort.

• I will treat all players, coaches, officials, parents and spectators with dignity and respect through positive language, attitude, behavior, and mannerisms. I understand that my behavior reflects on my team and on the Turlock Youth Football program.

• I will never bring or use drugs, alcohol, tobacco products, or weapons of any kind to any TYF events.

• I will apply the Player’s Code of Conduct in school. I understand that school is important, and I will do my very best.

• I will apply the Player’s Code of Conduct at home. I will listen to and obey my Parents/Guardians.
